EMDR Therapy & EMDR Intensives in Colorado

Faster, Deeper Healing for Women

You've been in therapy before, maybe for months, maybe for years, and while it helped you understand your patterns, you still feel stuck. The anxiety symptoms are still there. The memories still have a charge. Your body still tenses up in situations that your rational mind knows are not threatening.

If this sounds familiar, it may be because the experiences driving your symptoms haven't been fully processed at the level where they're stored: in your body and your nervous system. That's where EMDR therapy comes in.

What Is EMDR Therapy?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help the brain process traumatic or distressing memories that have become 'stuck.' EMDR uses bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, tapping, or auditory cues, to reactivate your brain's natural healing process. EMDR doesn't erase memories. It changes your relationship to them so they no longer control how you feel, react, or move through the world.

What Can EMDR Treat?

While EMDR was originally developed for PTSD, it has been shown to be effective for a wide range of concerns.

Trauma symptoms and PTSD

Anxiety symptoms and panic

Phobias and avoidance behaviors

Low self-esteem and negative self-beliefs

Grief and loss

Childhood experiences that still affect you today

Performance anxiety, perfectionism, and people-pleasing

Emotional blocks that keep you feeling stuck

What Are EMDR Intensives?

EMDR Intensives are extended therapy sessions, typically 2 to 3 hours, that allow for deeper, more sustained processing without the interruption of waiting a week between sessions. This format gives your nervous system the time and space to fully process and integrate, which can lead to faster and more noticeable results.

Feel like weekly therapy is moving too slowly for what you're working through

Have a specific memory, event, or theme you want to focus on

Are preparing for or recovering from a major life change

Want faster relief from trauma symptoms, anxiety symptoms, or emotional blocks

Have a busy schedule and prefer fewer, longer sessions
