Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about therapy at Wildflower

  • Wildflower Counseling Collective specializes in therapy for women ages 15 and older. We work with teens, college students, young adults, working professionals, and moms. Our areas of focus include anxiety symptoms, trauma symptoms, motherhood and perinatal mental health, EMDR, life transitions, stress management, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, and self-trust and self-esteem.

  • Jordyn Russo, LCSW, is licensed to practice in Colorado and Idaho. We offer both in-person sessions at our Littleton, CO office and telehealth sessions for residents of either state.

  • Yes. We offer secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions for women throughout Colorado and Idaho. Many of our clients prefer virtual sessions for the flexibility and convenience of connecting from home, their car, their dorm, or wherever they feel comfortable.

  • Each session is tailored to your specific goals and needs. Sessions create space for you to process what's coming up, in the present, from your past, or as you prepare for the future. Depending on your treatment plan, sessions may include EMDR, somatic processing, nervous system regulation, parts work, perspective shifts, or skill building.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps your brain process distressing memories that have become stuck. It uses bilateral stimulation, like guided eye movements or tapping, to help reduce the emotional charge of difficult memories. EMDR is effective for trauma symptoms, anxiety symptoms, low self-esteem, grief, and many other concerns.

  • EMDR Intensives are extended therapy sessions, typically 2 to 3 hours, that allow for deeper, more sustained processing without the interruption of waiting a week between sessions. They're ideal for women who want faster relief, are working on a specific memory or theme, or prefer fewer but longer sessions.

  • At Wildflower Counseling Collective, we use a somatic, integrative, and strength-based approach. This means we work with both your mind and your body. Much of what drives anxiety symptoms, trauma responses, and emotional patterns is stored in the body and the subconscious, places that talk alone often can't reach.

  • If something in your life feels heavy, stuck, or overwhelming, or if you're ready for growth and change, therapy can help. You don't need a diagnosis or a crisis to start. Many of our clients come in simply wanting more clarity, confidence, or peace. The best way to find out if we're a good fit is to schedule a free consultation.

  • We are an out-of-network provider. We can provide superbills that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement depending on your plan's out-of-network benefits. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network coverage for outpatient mental health services. Our rates are: Individual Therapy $200 per 50-minute session, EMDR Intensive (3 hours) $700, EMDR Intensive (6 hours) $1,400, and Group Therapy $75 per 80-minute session. We also accept HSA and FSA payments.

  • We believe in full transparency with our pricing. Individual Therapy sessions are $200 for a 50-minute session. EMDR Intensives are available in 3-hour ($700) and 6-hour ($1,400) formats. Group Therapy sessions are $75 for an 80-minute session. We accept HSA and FSA payments. We are an out-of-network practice and can provide superbills for potential insurance reimbursement. A sliding scale is available on a limited basis.

Over time, the frequency may shift to biweekly or as-needed based on your progress and goals. EMDR Intensives offer an alternative format for clients who prefer deeper, less frequent sessions.

  • Absolutely. Many of our clients use a combination of in-person and telehealth sessions depending on their schedule and preference. We're flexible and want to make therapy as accessible as possible for you.
